About Derek Luke
Derek Luke, born in April 24th 1974 in New Jersey is an American actor. Born to a performing family, a pianist mother and an actor father, he has had an active career since 1999. Best known for his portrayal of Antwone Fisher in the film of the same name he was nominated for many awards and won many more for his portrayal of the biographical drama film, some of these awards include a BET Award for Best Actor and Satellite Award for Outstanding New Talent.
Most recently Luke has portrayed Gabe Jones in the hit Marvel film, Captain America: The First Avenger alongside Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan and William Wright in the comedy Baggage Claim as well as currently being well known for playing Marlon in Rogue and Mr. porter in the hit Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why.
