American TV and film actor, J.Alphonse Nicholson was born on 6th July 1985. He is also a talented musician who has created a career that embraces both of his passions. In his early years as an actor, he also performed as a street drummer to make extra money. He made his debut in the 2013 feature film ‘Don’t Know Yet’ as one of the extras.  As an actor, his first break came with the critically acclaimed series, ‘P-Valley’ where he plays the rapper Lil Mudra. He also performed several soundtracks of the show. He has also appeared in other shows like ‘Mr.Robot’, ‘The Blacklist’ and ‘Luke Cage’. He has also guest starred on one episode of ‘Blue Bloods’. In 2020, he acted alongside Jaime Foxx and Michael B Jordan in the film, ‘Just Mercy’. In this film, he was seen in the role of Henry Davis. He also released a single ‘Slidin’ with Tyler Lepley.
