Michael Blackson was born on November 28, 1972 in Ghana, Africa. After moving to the US in 1987, he tried his hand at stand-up comedy, which he performed in Philadelphia and New York. He performed at several comedy competitions throughout the 1990s. He got his first film role in 2000’s Next Friday. He released a comedy album in 2005 called Modasucka: Welcome to America. He also had roles in 30 Rock, the Chappelle Show and several music videos.
