Actress, comedian and author Mindy Kaling, was born as Vera Mindy Chokalingam on June 24th 1979 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mindy is best known for her role as Kelly Kapoor in The Office, a show which she was a writer, executive producer and director. Mindy has starred in an array of roles including the 40-Year-Old Virgin, Curb Your Enthusiasm, License to Wed, Night at the Museum 2, No Strings Attached, A Wrinkle in Time, and Ocean’s Eight. Mindy created, and executive produced the shows The Mindy Project, Champions, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Never Have I Ever. She lent her writing skills to episodes of The Mindy Project, and The Office. Kaling also took on the world of voice acting with roles in Despicable Me, Wreck-It Ralph, and Inside Out.
