Pam Grier was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on May 26th, 1949. She spent her early childhood traveling a lot, because her father was in the military. Finally, the family settled in Denver, Colorado, where Grier won third place in the Miss Colorado beauty pageant. Grier is best known for her starring role in Jackie Brown (1991), and as Kit Porter in The L Word.
In addition to an appearance in 2017’s upcoming Grandmother’s Murder Club, Pam Grier can also be seen in Women In Cages, Foxy Brown, Greased Lightning, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, Original Gangstas, No Tomorrow, and Bones.
