Amy Grant (born November 25, 1960, in Augusta, Georgia) is a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter widely recognized as the “Queen of Christian Pop.” Raised in Nashville, she signed her first record deal while studying at Vanderbilt University and released her debut album in 1978. Her breakthrough came with the 1982 album Age to Age, which earned her a Grammy and helped cement her influence in Contemporary Christian Music. She later crossed over to mainstream pop with chart-topping albums like Unguarded (1985) and the five-times platinum Heart in Motion (1991), which featured iconic hits such as “Baby, Baby” and “Every Heartbeat.”
