Born in 1975, Andre 3000 (André Lauren Benjamin) is a hip hop artist and actor from Atlanta, Georgia. Andre 3000 first became famous as a member of the hip hop duo Outkast before branching off to start his solo career in 2007 with the release of his album “Whole Foods”. Andre 3000 has worked with artists like John Legend, Ke$ha, and Beyonce on top 100 songs, and has been nominated for multiple Grammy awards since beginning his solo career.
