Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, born April 10, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a legendary singer-songwriter, record producer, and musician whose soulful R&B compositions have profoundly shaped the music industry. He first gained fame as a member of the funk collective The Deele and went on to co-found LaFace Records in 1989 with L.A. Reid—an enterprise that propelled the careers of artists like Usher, Toni Braxton, TLC, Outkast, and Pink. 

As a solo artist, Babyface has released ten studio albums, including Girls Night Out (October 2022), his first with Capitol Records. The album—consisting of collaborations exclusively with female artists such as Kehlani, Ella Mai, Tiana Major9, Ari Lennox, Wueen Naija, and Coco Jones—earned a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album at the 66th Grammy Awards.
