About Billie Joe Armstrong
Billie Joe Armstrong was born in Berkeley, California on February 17, 1972. He started his musical career in 1987 when he formed a side with Mike Dirnt the rock band Green Day. Thanks to this band, Armstrong became very famous among the punkers. In 2004 the band released its successful single “American Idiot” that threw the band at an international level. Armstrong has also collaborated with Norah Jones, pianist, and jazz singer, to remake one of the classics albums of Everly Brothers. In 2018 he formed a new band “The Longshot”, but he continued making collaborations with other artists like Jesse Malin for the single “Strangers & Thieves” in 2019, and Morrissey for the single “Wedding Bell Blues”. In 2020 he released alone six new singles with Reprise Records.
