Jagged Edge is an American R&B vocal group that was popular during the 1900’s to the early 2000’s. They are widely known for their hit singles, ‘Let’s Get Married’ and ‘Where The Party At’. Jagged Edge comprised of 4 members; Brandon and Brian Casey, who are identical twins, along with Kyle Norman and Richard Wingo. The group was signed by Columbia distribution So So Def label, releasing their debut single, ‘The Way That You Talk’, featuring Da Brat and Dupri in 1997. Their debut single made it to the R&B Chart landing at number 40. In 1998, the group released their debut ‘A Jagged Era’ which hit the Top 20 R&B chart and along with the album was their hit single, ‘Gotta Be’. In 2000, the group released their second album, ‘J.E. Heartbreak’ which was Jagged Edge’s most successful album, with 3 hits that reached the top of the R&B charts; ‘Let’s Get Married’ (Top 20), ‘He Can’t Love You’ (Top Five R&B) and ‘Promise’ (Top Ten Pop). Heading into 2001, the group released their third album, ‘Jagged Little Thrill’, which went platinum. The lead single, ‘Where the Party At?” featuring Nelly hit number 1 on the R&B Top Ten, number 3 on the Hot 100 chart that year. Following the album, the group released a number of albums; their fourth album, ‘Hard’ in 2003, ‘Jagged Edge’ in 2006, ‘The Remedy’ in 2011 and ‘J.E. Heartbreak 2’ in 2014. Throughout their career, Jagged Edge received several nominations such as Favourite Soul/R&B Band/Duo/Group for Award Music Award in 2001, 2002, & 2006, Best Group for the BET Awards in 2001, 2002 & 2003 and 1 Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for ‘Where the Party At?’ featuring Nelly. The group released their latest album in 2017 titled ‘Layover’.
