MoonChylde was born in Atlanta, Ga. She spent most of her life singing in church. In 2006 she was introduced to a group of local musicians and together they formed the band Melodic Moon. Melodic Moon was a Party Band that performed in the Casino Circuit and Special Events for approximately 9 years. MoonChylde was not only the Lead Vocalist, but played the role of Manager, Marketing Rep and Booking Agent. In 2013 Moon retired the band to start a new journey in writing and producing her own music.
