Next is an American contemporary R&B trio, most popular during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, the members are Terry Brown, otherwise known as T-Low, Raphael Brown, otherwise known as Tweet, Robert Huggar, otherwise known as R.L. Formed in 1994, the trio is best known for their number one hit single Too Close, as well as Wifey and I Still Love You.
With twelve award nominations and seven wins, the trio came into fame when they caught the attention of Naughty by Nature’s KayGee, he helped them work on their debut album Rated Next, which went Double Platinum in the United States. Their next album Welcome II Nextasy went to US Gold. In march of 2018 the group premiered their new single Want It.
