Born in March 11, 1981, Paul Wall or legally known as Paul Slayton is a DJ who worked in the footsteps of Houstonian DJ Screw. His style is the slowed-down remixing of music. Before making his nationwide breakout back in 2005, he was included on the promotional street parties and made underground mix tapes.
Among his acts was the “Get Ya Mind Correct” and “Chick Magnet” which was released in 2002 and 2004 consecutively. When he decided to change labels with all the members of Swishahouse family, where he got his first Records debut, his first album was entitled “Fast Life” under Asylum.
In 2015, Paul Wall’s album Slab God was released which featured big names like Snoop Dogg, Devin the Dude, and Curren$y.
