Formed in 2012, the English quartet Rixton originally performed under the name Relics. Rixton is comprised of singers Jake Roche, Charley Bagnall, Danny Wilkin, and Lewi Morgan. Jake Roche and Danny Wilkin began producing material together when they were younger, and after linking up with Charley Bagnall and Lewi Morgan, they started making music to post to their YouTube channel. In late 2013, they put out a video for the song Make Out, which featured clips from other famous artists’ videos, such as “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus and “Applause” by Lady Gaga. Their debut single, titled “Me and My Broken Heart’, was released in 2014, which managed to chart internationally and became a #1 song in the UK. The group had the opportunity to perform that year at SXSW before embarking on their own tour.
