Stephanie Lynn “Stevie” Nicks, born in 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, is an American singer-songwriter, known much for her work with Fleetwood Mac, as much for her extensive solo career. She is one of the few rock artists who has had a solo career and being part of a very successful band. As a member of Fleetwood Mac, she was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and did it again as a soloist in 2019, becoming the first woman in history to enter twice. Renowned for her harsh voice, distinctive outfits, and the symbolism of her songs, Nicks is one of the most successful singers of her generation. Rolling Stone magazine called her “Current Queen of Rock” for her constant work.
