About Wu-Tang Clan
Wu-Tang Clan is an American Hip Hop band formed in 1993 in New York, USA. Originally, the band was composed of rappers and MCs RZA, GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Masta Killa. Wu-Tang Clan’s debut album “Enter the Wu-Tang” was considered one of the best hip hop albums of history. The band was the first in the industry to secure solo album deals for the members while having a separate record deal as a group. They also started a huge trend in the hip hop industry, as they were the firsts to design and promote their own line of clothing “WuWear”. Other hip hop artists would eventually follow their lead, like G-Unit or Kanye West. The Wu-Tang Clan has released four gold and platinum studio albums. The Rolling Stone magazine has stated that “Wu-Tang Clan may be the best rap group ever” and NME hailed them as one of the most influential bands of the decade.
